About the position The Vice President, Finance Chief Operations Officer will play a pivotal role in shaping our company's strategic direction, operational efficiency, and technological advancement. This executive will be responsible for excellence in accounting operations and shared services, integrating financial management with cutting-edge technology and data analytics to streamline operations, drive profitability, and ensure competitive advantage in the market. In this role, the Vice President will oversee and spearhead the optimization of business processes and operational capabilities across the accounting organization. They will implement best practices that enhance efficiency and productivity, ensuring these processes are scalable and aligned with the overall business strategy. The position requires acting as a partner to the Global Technology organization to oversee the adoption and implementation of new technology solutions that support business operations, enhance decision-making, and strengthen controls. The executive will ensure that technology strategies and data management practices align with business goals, enhancing information systems and infrastructure. Additionally, they will support the Finance organization in developing strategies around further adoption of AI and the adoption of GenAI. The Vice President will work closely with Global Technology to develop a comprehensive Finance data strategy that supports enterprise-wide decision-making and performance monitoring. They will ensure robust data governance and compliance practices are in place to maintain data integrity and security. Leadership and team development are also key aspects of this role, as the executive will build and manage a high-performing team of accounting, operations, and other professionals, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Stakeholder management is crucial, as the Vice President will act as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, providing strategic updates and insights to the board of directors and executive team. They will ensure effective communication and relationships with business partners and external vendors. Furthermore, the role involves maintaining rigorous compliance with financial and technological regulatory requirements and developing strategies to mitigate risks related to finance, technology, and operations. Requirements Minimum of 10 years in leadership roles related to finance, operations, and technology within a dynamically changing environment. , Proven track record of developing a Finance data strategy, integrating technology and data analysis into business operations to drive efficiency and profitability. , Demonstrated ability in leading diverse teams and large-scale projects. , Excellent communication skills, adept at negotiating and influencing at an executive level. , MBA or Master's in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. , Certifications such as CPA, CFA, or PMP, with a strong technical background in IT systems and data analytics.
