Job description Bring Stories to Life Through Clean, Impactful Edits Position Title: Video Editor (Freelance / Part-Time) Company: Revolucent Media Location: Remote (Dallas, TX preferred) Job Type: Contract / Freelance Pay: Based on experience and fit About Us Revolucent Media is a creative studio that provides high-quality photo, video, and film production services to clients across industries — including food, fashion, real estate, and community-focused brands. Job Summary We’re looking for a skilled short-form video editor to help us deliver high-quality content for both internal and client-facing projects. You’ll be editing everything from branded Reels to doc-style interview clips. Responsibilities • Edit short-form videos for social (Reels, TikTok, Shorts, etc.) • Sync footage, select key moments, and create engaging sequences • Add text, sound design, light graphics, and basic motion where needed • Maintain brand tone and consistency across edits • Organize project files and communicate regularly with the team • Occasionally assist with longer edits or repurposed content Qualifications • 2+ years of editing experience (freelance or agency) • Proficient in Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, or similar • Strong sense of pacing, emotion, and storytelling • Comfortable adapting style to different brands or tones • Clear communicator, reliable turnaround • Bonus: Experience with content repurposing or editing for performance • Bonus: You’re open to growing into a Creative Director role down the line Compensation & Opportunity This role is currently freelance with limited hours, but we’re actively growing. Pay will depend on experience, scope, and what we’re able to build together. If you’re open to starting small and growing into something larger with us, we’d love to talk.
