VP Finance - Series B Retail Startup

About the Role The company is looking for a VP Finance to join the executive team and report directly to the CEO. This role is pivotal in guiding strategic decisions to enhance profitability, drive operational efficiencies, and ensure sustainable, long-term success. You will be part of a robust Finance & Accounting team of five, with a clear path to potentially becoming the CFO within the next two years. Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred. • Over 12 years of progressive finance experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role. • Essential experience in retail, CPG, or supply chain. • Proven track record in a fast-growing, startup environment. • Experience with ERP system implementation and audit management. • Strong leadership skills with the ability to develop and scale a team. • Hands-on approach with a willingness to be involved in day-to-day operations. • Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with other leaders.
