About the Role We’re looking for a VP of Finance to lead the finance function at Jasper and serve as a strategic partner on the executive team. This is the senior-most finance role in the company, reporting directly to the CEO. The right person shows up as a business leader first, finance leader second — translating vision into financial reality, guiding strategic bets, and ensuring Jasper’s growth in a rapidly evolving AI market. This fully remote role reports to the CEO and is open to candidates located anywhere in the continental US. What You Will Do at Jasper Strategy & Cross-Functional Partnership • Serve as a strategic partner to the CEO and executive team, shaping company direction and growth priorities • Translate strategic vision into actionable financial and operating models • Lead strategic planning, scenario analysis, and investment evaluation • Partner deeply with cross-functional executives on priorities, trade-offs, and accountability Pricing, GTM & Monetization • Collaborate with Product and GTM leaders on pricing strategy, deal structuring, and monetization • Support Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success with unit economics, KPI reviews, and performance tracking • Bring financial rigor to commercial decisions without slowing the business Fundraising, Board & Investor Support • Prepare and present board and investor materials that frame financial performance in strategic context • Support fundraising processes and due diligence; manage investor communications with the CEO • Operate confidently in board-level conversations and stakeholder management Finance Operations & Team • Own the full finance function end-to-end: FP&A, accounting, strategic finance, and operations • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning with SaaS financial models • Oversee accounting operations, ensuring GAAP compliance and timely monthly close • Manage financial systems and infrastructure (including NetSuite) for scale and efficiency • Define, track, and communicate SaaS metrics (ARR, NRR, churn, gross margin, cash flow, LTV/CAC) • Build and mentor a high-performing finance team with scalable processes ✅ What You Will Bring • 12+ years of progressive finance experience, with time in high-growth B2B SaaS environments • Prior experience as VP Finance, Senior Director of Finance, or equivalent at a growth-stage tech company • Track record of influencing decisions beyond finance as a strategic business partner • Strong FP&A and accounting foundation across the full finance stack • Experience with board reporting, investor communications, and fundraising • Hands-on M&A experience (evaluation, due diligence, deal modeling, integration planning) • Advanced financial modeling and forecasting skills; deep Excel expertise • Hands-on experience with NetSuite and modern finance tools • Solid understanding of GAAP, SaaS models, subscription/usage-based revenue, and key metrics • Proven ability to communicate complex financial insights clearly to executives and boards • Success building and scaling high-performing finance teams • High ownership, bias toward action, and comfort with ambiguity • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required; MBA or CPA preferred Compensation Range • Base salary: $248,000 – $310,000 • Compensation may vary based on experience, skills, and certifications Benefits & Perks • Comprehensive Health, Dental, and Vision coverage (starting day one) • 401(k) program with up to 2% company matching • Equity grant participation • Flexible PTO + FlexExperience budget ($900 annually) • FlexWellness program ($1,800 annually) to support personal health goals • Generous home office setup budget • $1,500 annual learning & development stipend • 16 weeks of paid parental leave • Remote-first culture with strong commitment to diversity and inclusion
