Role and Responsibilities: In this role, you will handle, sort, and move mail within a busy warehouse environment. You will work as part of a team to ensure timely and accurate processing of packages and letters. Key responsibilities include: • Load, unload, and move mail and packages between trucks, storage areas, and processing equipment. • Sort mail by size, destination, and type for delivery or further processing. • Operate sorting machines and other mail handling equipment safely and efficiently. • Verify labels, addresses, and postage for accuracy. • Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with USPS safety standards. Required Skills and Experience: • No degree or prior experience required – training will be provided. • Ability to lift and move packages up to 70 pounds repeatedly. • Attention to detail for sorting and labeling accuracy. • Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically active environment. • Strong teamwork and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: • Previous warehouse, mail handling, or shipping/receiving experience. • Familiarity with scanning devices or automated mail processing equipment.
