YOU ARE: Responsible for processing the bi-weekly payroll with a high level of accuracy and efficiency. As a successful candidate for this role, you will have a strong attention to detail and a working knowledge of payroll policies and procedures. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate payroll records and performing other payroll-related financial activities within our organization. YOUR DAY TO DAY: • Responsible for processing our bi-weekly payroll timely and in compliance with all federal, state and local regulations and adherence to company policies • Audit payroll to ensure accuracy with data integrity • Calculate and process complex and high-visibility transactions, including multi-state adjustments, bonus taxation and retroactive adjustments • Generate payroll reports for management and regulatory agencies • Provide a high level of customer service when responding to payroll inquiries in a timely manner, collaborating with the People team, Finance and other departments as needed • Research and analyze complex payroll issues, develop solutions and communicate with employees and internal stakeholders • Assist with processing payroll journal entries into accounting software • Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy of payroll operations • Understanding of multi-state taxation and garnishments • Compile payroll data as requested for internal and external audits YOU'LL BRING: • Bachelor's degree in Accounting / Finance OR • 5+ years of work experience processing high-volume multi-state payrolls • Experience using Workday Payroll and Time and Attendance is a plus • Strong work ethic and ability to work independently and be able to multi-task • Excellent knowledge of Excel • Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines • Excellent written and verbal communication skills effectively communicating across department and all levels • Demonstrate complete discretion and confidentiality WE OFFER: • Competitive Compensation + Bonus Potential • Full Health Benefits; Medical/Dental/Vision/Life Insurance + Paid Parental Leave • Company Matched 401k • Paid Time Off + Paid Holidays + Paid Volunteer Time • Diversity Alliance Resource Groups • Employee Stock Purchase Program • Tuition Reimbursement • Charitable Gift Matching • Job Required Equipment & Services Will Be Provided Progressive Leasing welcomes and encourages diversity in the workplace.
