Workday Banking and Settlement SME

Description Seeking a skilled Workday Banking & Settlement Consultant to support the FAS team in configuring and implementing a robust cash management process. This role is ideal for someone with deep expertise in Workday Financials and banking file integrations. Top 3 Requirements • Expertise in Workday Banking & Settlement module, including integration setup - must have • Understanding or experience with Workday Customer and Supplier modules - preferred • Exposure to Workday Prism - preferred Key Responsibilities • Lead automation of MT940 and BAI2 file ingestion into Workday, including MFT setup and connector configuration • Design and implement conversion logic from MT940 to CamT.053 format • Enhance BAI2 rule sets and ensure accurate mapping and reconciliation of bank statements • Collaborate with Treasury and Tech teams to define file formats and integration touchpoints • Develop Workday reports to monitor integration status, identify rejected items, and support audit readiness • Participate in configuration and deployment of the Banking & Settlement module, including ISO 20022 CamT enablement • Troubleshoot integration issues and coordinate with Workday Support on MT940-related inconsistencies • Support change management, training, and documentation efforts Requirements • 5+ years of experience with Workday Financials, including 2+ years in the Banking & Settlement module • Proven experience with MT940, CamT.053, and BAI2 formats • Strong understanding of financial processes: A/P, GL, cash management, and reconciliations • Experience with Workday integrations, including MFT and ETL pipelines • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Preferred Qualifications • Exposure to Workday Supplier and Customer modules • Experience with Workday Prism • Familiarity with ISO 20022 standards and global banking formats • Knowledge of Workday's MT Messaging Configuration and Integration Maps • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.
