Workday Testing Manager

The Workday Testing Manager will have a successful End-to-End medium to large ERP implementation testing experience, and relevant background in HCM, Finance, and Student systems. As the Testing Manager, you will be hands-on with the development of key project deliverables for Workday implementations such as: Test Strategy, Test Plans, Test metrics and reporting, and Test Scenarios while driving client engagement. This individual exemplifies the skills of a leader, manager, & mentor, and thrives on accomplishing the stakeholders’ needs. Key Responsibilities: • Lead the project team on Workday implementations through preparation, planning, and execution of Testing of the Workday system prior to implementation. • Manage 1 - 2 medium to large Workday product implementations in the Testing Manager role. • Track and report on testing progress. • Guide project team on development of test plans and impart Best Practices on Testing. • Provide guidance and mentoring to other consultants. • Become an expert our Cynergy™ (Workday) Implementation Methodology and use it on all engagements. • Drive collaboration between QA and functional teams to maximize timely delivery of solutions • Contribute to tools and project assets related to Workday testing. • Track issues and risks, communicate status, and escalate concerns appropriately, while working with the client project manager to identify/resolve all issues that could impact project scope and/or timeframes. • Work with Workday’s Delivery Assurance to ensure compliance with checkpoints. • Assist in the transition of the customer from Professional Services to Product Support. • Ensure the client can serve as a reference upon completing their implementation. • Participate in the sales cycle when requested to gather requirements, formulate delivery approach, and develop a proposal/SOW.
