Writer/Editor (Audit/Accounting experience)

Our client, a large accounting and advisory organization, is looking for a writer/editor with experience in the fintech/audit sector. This is a 100% remote role. Responsibilities: • Refine existing content • Make complex audit methodology clear and engaging for audit staff globally • Incorporate visual aids, such as flowcharts, diagrams, or tables • Heavy focus on standardization across all chapters • Liaise with subject matter experts, internal customers, and managers to gather information and ensure the documentation meets their needs • Support document control practices to maintain compliance with regulations and standards. Skills/Experience: • Minimum 3 years’ writing/editing experience in the fintech/audit sector • Understanding of auditing/accountancy principles and regulatory requirements • Ability to prioritize and manage own work with minimal oversight • Copy editing skills -attention to quality and detail • Meticulous in ensuring accuracy, consistency, and clarity in all documentation • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written • An ability to work independently as part of a globally dispersed team Qualifications: • Bachelor's Degree in Technical Writing, English, Communications, or Information Technology + Accounting/Audit Degree is ideal • Excellent English proficiency in writing, editing, and proofreading About Bárd Bárd is an award-winning, global technical writing consultancy that's known for its expertise, the quality of its technical writing, its focus on partnership, and the human approach we bring to everything we do.
