Zapier Expert for Multi-System Integrations (CRM, Google Ads, Airtable, Pipedrive, etc)

BFX Commerce is a marketing & eCommerce consultancy supporting beverage brands and retailers. We run a lean stack and connect lots of tools—CRM, email, eCommerce, spreadsheets, and analytics—to automate ops and reporting. The Role ------------ We’re looking for a senior Zapier expert who can architect, build, and maintain reliable automations across multiple apps and client accounts. You’ll translate business rules into robust zaps with strong error handling, clear logging, and clean data flows. Typical Projects ------------ 1- CRM + Outreach: Google Sheets → Pipedrive (Lead/Org/Contact) → Instantly/other sequencers; stage updates & dedupe. 2- eCommerce + Marketing: Shopify/Commerce7 → Klaviyo/Meta/GA4; order & event tracking; list hygiene. 3- Ops & Reporting: Airtable/Notion/Sheets roll-ups; Slack/Email alerts; weekly digests and QA checks. 4- Webhooks & APIs: Custom endpoints, auth keys, pagination/rate-limit handling, retries & backoff. 5- Data Transformations: Normalize fields, map objects, and build idempotent flows with keys. Responsibilities ------------ 1- Design integration architectures; document data models & field mapping. 2- Build zaps using Webhooks by Zapier, Paths, Looping, Storage, Code by Zapier (JS/Python), Tables/Interfaces. 3- Implement alerting, retries, and dead-letter/parking-lot patterns. 4- Proactively maintain and update zaps as APIs change. Tech We Use (you don’t need all, but breadth helps) ------------ Pipedrive, Instantly, Google Sheets, Airtable, Klaviyo, Shopify, Commerce7, GA4, Calendly, SEMRush Must-Have ------------ 1- REQUIRED: Working Hours in any of the United States time zones 2- 3–5+ years building complex, multi-step zaps at production scale. 3- Advanced use of Webhooks and Code steps (parsing JSON, auth headers, pagination). 4- Data quality & deduplication patterns; idempotency keys. 5- Writing clear technical documentation and diagrams. 6- Strong communication and fast, reliable delivery. Nice to Have ------------ 1- SQL/BigQuery, Regex, and JavaScript/Python comfort. 2- GA4 event design, UTM governance. 3- Basic security & PII handling best practices. Deliverables ------------ 1- Working zaps with commented steps and environment variables. 2- Error handling & notification flows. 3- Mapping docs (inputs/outputs), test cases, and a simple runbook. 4- Handoff video or Loom walkthrough.
