As our Junior Account Executive (SaaS / Sustainability), you’ll play a key role in building and nurturing relationships with sustainability and packaging decision‑makers at the world’s leading brands and manufacturers.Now, we’re looking for a motivated and curious Junior Account Executive to support and grow our B2B sales activities. This role is ideal for someone who wants to take their first steps in SaaS sales, develop a deep understanding of the entire sales funnel, and grow into a future Account Executive. Tasks• Build a strong understanding of our market, customer pain points, and product value propositions• Identify and approach potential leads across industries like consumer goods and packaging suppliers• Support lead generation efforts by researching prospects and initiating outreach via Linked In, email, or industry events• Qualify inbound and outbound leads and help guide them through the sales funnel• Assist in organizing and conducting discovery calls, product demos, and follow‑bolthires with potential customers• Learn to manage sales cycles end‑to‑end—from initial contact to closing and beyond• Collaborate closely with our Pre‑Sales Engineers, Marketing, and Customer Success to ensure a smooth customer experience• Share market insights and learnings with the team to improve our messaging, product positioning, and overall go‑to‑market successRequirements• A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g.Business, Marketing, Sustainability, Environmental Studies); a Master’s degree is a plus• You’ve gained first experience in a client‑facing or commercial role—e.g. in sales, consulting, business development, customer success or project management (internships or entry‑level jobs also count!)• You have strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and German (C1 level or above)• You’re proactive, take ownership of your work, and love to learn and improve every day• You’re not afraid to reach out to new people, build relationships, and take initiative in contacting potential customers• You’re able to quickly grasp complex topics like sustainability, SaaS, and regulatory frameworks—and explain them clearly to others• You’re curious, open‑minded, and genuinely interested in topics like climate tech, digitalisation, and circular packaging regulationsBonus points if you have:• Experience with CRM tools (e.g.Hub bolthires, Salesforce) and digital outreach platformsBenefits• Shape the future of sustainabilityYour work will directly support global brands in making packaging more circular—and regulations more manageable.
