The Learning Innovation Specialist is a key individual contributor within the Learning & Development team who designs, delivers, and continuously improves the company’s onboarding and learning experiences. This role focuses on creating innovative, technology-driven training programs that accelerate time-to-competency and enhance the overall employee experience.The specialist will leverage instructional design principles, modern learning platforms, and AI tools to create scalable, engaging, and measurable training solutions. Collaborating closely with People Operations, Client Success, and department leaders, this person ensures a seamless connection between hiring, onboarding, skill development, and ongoing capability growth. Compensation:$60,000 - $70,000Responsibilities:• Design and execute innovative onboarding and learning programs across departments, ensuring consistency, scalability, and measurable outcomes.• Create role-based training paths that include interactive e-learning modules, live facilitation, and hands-on learning experiences. • Facilitate engaging sessions such as workshops, labs, and internal “lunch and learn” events focused on new tools, technologies, and best practices. • Develop and manage content libraries across Guru and other platforms to ensure up-to-date and aligned training resources. • Integrate AI-driven tools to automate content creation, track learning trends, and identify skill or knowledge gaps.• Partner with People Operations on recruitment readiness, onboarding logistics, and competency frameworks for new hires. • Collaborate with department leaders to translate complex processes into simplified, visual, and actionable learning materials. • Track and report on training performance metrics, including learner satisfaction, completion rates, and post-training performance improvements. • Maintain a culture of continuous learning by developing refreshers, workshops, and ongoing skill development initiatives.• Research and pilot emerging technologies and instructional design trends to enhance the company’s learning ecosystem. Qualifications:• 4–6+ years of experience practicing Personal Injury Law, with a strong background handling cases involving motor vehicle accidents (MVA), bicycle accidents, medical malpractice, dog bites, slip and fall incidents, drunk drivers, and premises liability.Candidates should have a demonstrated history of managing complex injury cases from intake through resolution, including negotiation, litigation preparation, and consistent, compassionate communication with clients. • 4–6+ years of experience in training, onboarding, instructional design, or learning experience development. • Demonstrated success in building learning programs that improve performance and reduce time-to-competency. • Experience with learning management systems (LearnUpon preferred) and knowledge-sharing tools (Guru or equivalent).• Strong instructional design and facilitation skills, including the ability to translate complex concepts into engaging content. • Experience leveraging AI, digital learning tools, or automation for training design and delivery. • Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills across departments and levels. • Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to version control and content governance. • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Communications, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience.• Background in legal services, professional services, or SaaS environments preferred.
