They will play a key role in leading, mentoring and teaching business leaders and associates how to use Lean methodologies to drive key process indicators and facilitate continuous improvement. How You Will Make a Difference:Drives consistent and effective adoption of Cl across all DCsManages the continued CI Training needs across the DC networkAligns Cl initiatives with leader OGSTMs and DC KPIsDrives cross-network project sharing, visibility, and connectionsWorks with key stakeholders in planning, organizing, implementing, and reviewing process improvement projects identified as critical, high impact, cross-network problems (i.e.Kaizen events & sustained improvement). Develops and conducts Culture Development Assessments, reporting/monitoring tools, program evaluations, and reviews to drive results to ensure that change is sustainable and permanent. Develops, trains, and mentors others in the use of Lean tools, approaches, and techniques to create a culture of continuous improvement and to solve complex and basic problems. Skills for Success:Years of RelatedProfessionalExperience: 5+ yearsA Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Technology or related field and a minimum of 4 years broad business experience, preferably in the implementation of strategic initiatives or equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.Excellent verbal and written communications skills, including highly refined public speaking skills to manage challenging public situations effectively. Experience in presenting to and influencing senior leadership. Experience developing and articulating strategic choices and related Tactics. Proficiency with project-based tools such as Word, Excel, Project, and PowerPoint as well as ability to pull and synthesize large data sets. Proven ability to develop trust-based relationships with local and remote key leaders and team membersProven record of accomplishment working with Project & Change Management principles and methodologiesAbility to identify dependencies between new and existing technology and business processesStrong problem-solving skills, ability to take a new perspective on using existing solutionsAdept at identifying high-impact issues and risks to escalate for executive reviewExperience and ability to work independently as a member of a virtual or geographically dispersed team.Ability to lead and influence others who do not directly report to the Project ManagerSpecial Physical and/or Mental Requirements:Travel by air and overnight, as required 30% of time.
