``` ## ROLE OVERVIEW Role: Part-time Marketing Manager (10 hours/week to start) Company: Buchanan Law Group (Chicago-based family law firm) Reports to: Bobby Buchanan, Owner ## ABOUT BUCHANAN LAW GROUP Buchanan Law Group is a growing family law firm focused on divorce, custody, and post-divorce matters. We invest heavily in education-driven marketing: webinars, content, email, and paid acquisition. We already work with specialized vendors for email, social media, podcasting, and design. This role exists to connect the dots, keep projects moving, and execute when needed. ## THE ROLE (READ CAREFULLY) This is a HYBRID OPERATOR role. You will both manage and execute. You will: - Coordinate and push multiple marketing initiatives forward at once - Hold vendors accountable and keep timelines tight - Personally execute when needed (ads, pages, setups) - Work directly with the owner, not through layers of management If you only manage OR only execute, this role is not a fit. ## WHAT YOU’LL ACTUALLY DO - Launch and manage Facebook ad campaigns in Ads Manager - Set up and run webinars (registration pages, reminders, integrations) - Build and update landing pages (tool flexible) - Coordinate email, social, podcast, and design vendors - Implement light automation (forms, tagging, basic workflows) - Create simple KPI dashboards and basic reporting - Proactively drive momentum by telling us what needs to happen next You are expected to take a high-level goal and figure out how to get it done. ## NON-NEGOTIABLE SKILLS You must already be comfortable with: - Facebook Ads Manager (hands-on experience required) - Webinar platforms (Zoom, WebinarJam, or similar) - Landing page tools (ClickFunnels, Webflow, WordPress, HighLevel, etc.) - Basic CRM concepts (leads, pipelines, tagging) - Automation tools (Zapier, Make, native integrations) ## EXPERIENCE THAT HELPS - Professional services marketing (law, medical, consulting, finance, etc.) - Working with founders who move fast and expect follow-through - Managing vendors without hand-holding - Remote, async communication with clear documentation Legal marketing experience is a plus, not required. ## HOW WE WORK - Direct access to ad accounts, CRM, and tools - Direct communication with the owner - You are expected to push back, remind, and drive action - We care more about leading indicators and output than vanity metrics - Starts at ~10 hours/week and can expand if it’s a strong fit ## THIS IS NOT FOR YOU IF - You need step-by-step instructions - You avoid execution and live in strategy decks - You are sloppy, slow, or overconfident - You disappear without clear updates ## WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE (6 MONTHS) - Projects move forward without chasing - Webinars, ads, and content ship more frequently - Vendors stay aligned and accountable - The owner feels supported and challenged - Marketing output is clearly higher ## TO APPLY Include the following in your proposal: 1) A brief example of a campaign or webinar you personally executed 2) The tools you have hands-on experience with 3) Your availability and time zone 4) Why this role fits how you like to work Generic proposals will be ignored. ``` Apply tot his job
