Node/js Developer /EU based/Remote contract/

We’re seeking a Mid-level or higher seniority Node.js Developer to join our client, an innovative company in the EdTech sector transforming how education is delivered. This is not a task-driven role; we’re looking for someone who is proactive, takes ownership, and actively contributes to the development of the product and overall direction of the tech. Responsibilities:• Actively engage in the development and evolution of the product — not just execute assigned tasks. • Work closely with the client and internal team to understand needs, propose solutions, and deliver high-quality code.• Maintain excellent communication with the US based client, including responsiveness across time zones. • React quickly and effectively to issues, bugs, and urgent requests as needed. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, frontend developers, and QA engineers. Tech Stack:• Primary Focus: Node.js (backend development)• Secondary: Flutter (frontend)• Nice to Have: Experience with Java or React (opens the door for involvement in other future projects)Requirements:• 3+ years of experience with Node.js development• Experience working with Flutter (or willingness to learn/touch frontend when needed)• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills• Comfortable working independently in a remote team• Based in the EU• Willingness to occasionally adjust working hours to collaborate with a U.S.based team• Fluent English language skills. €23 - €30 an hourOriginal job Node/js Developer /EU based/Remote contract/ posted on GrabJobs ©.
