Online History Teacher(high school level)

OverviewWe are seeking passionate and dedicated online tutors for students in high-school-level history. This is a fully online position with flexible scheduling, ideal for educators enthusiastic about fostering student growth in a virtual environment. Responsibilities• Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards for History. • Utilize virtual learning tools to enhance student engagement and comprehension. • Provide instruction in subject-specific skills, fostering critical thinking and understanding.• Create a supportive online learning environment to encourage student participation. • Assess student progress through assignments, quizzes, and informal evaluations. • Adapt teaching methods to suit diverse learning styles and student needs. • Collaborate with colleagues to refine teaching strategies and share best practices. • Communicate with parents/guardians to discuss student progress and address concerns. • Offer additional tutoring support for students needing extra help. Qualifications• 1+ year of teaching experience in high school History(no related experience is a reject).• Bachelor’s degree in Education, History or related field preferred. • Proficiency in online teaching platforms and learning technology (we use the platform Classin, make sure download and register before first trial and send me your email). • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. • Passion for education and inspiring students in a virtual setting. • Experience and comfortable using APPs like Zoom/ Classin. • Experience and comfortable teaching students in China (English is their second language).• Time would be in the morning before school (US time), make sure you are available (China time at night). • Make sure you can work in the US and receive W2. Compensation• Elementary level: $23–25/hour.
