Ecommerce SEO & Content Editor - Optimize and Polish Every Product ListingWe’re looking for a meticulous, experienced editor to review and optimize every product listing on our OpenCart ecommerce store. Your role will be to ensure that each listing is:SEO-optimizedVisually appealing and easy to readStructured with the right keywords, title tags, and internal linkingFully enhanced with image Alt tags and formatting best practicesThis is not a copywriting-from-scratch role, you’ll be working with existing listings, improving and optimizing them for performance and conversions.Responsibilities:Review every product listing on our OpenCart store. Edit product titles, descriptions, and tags for maximum SEO performance. Add or adjust Alt tags on all images. Implement internal linking between relevant products and categories. Ensure proper use of heading hierarchy (H1, H2, etc.) for readability and structure. Format content for visual appeal and clarity (spacing, bullet points, consistent tone). Suggest or implement keyword improvements based on your SEO experience. Provide a brief report or checklist of your work for transparency.Requirements:Proven experience editing and optimizing ecommerce product listings (OpenCart, Shopify, WooCommerce, etc.). Strong understanding of on-page SEO best practices. Familiarity with title tags, meta descriptions, Alt tags, internal linking, and keyword placement. Excellent English writing and editing skills. A sharp eye for formatting, consistency, and visual presentation. Experience using SEO tools (e.g., Ahrefs, SEMrush, Yoast, Rank Math, etc.) is a plus. Bonus Skills (Nice to Have):Familiarity with OpenCart CMS.Basic HTML formatting. Understanding of conversion copywriting principles. Project Scope:Review and optimize approximately 400 product listings. Potential for ongoing work if results are strong (e.g., future product additions or seasonal updates).
