Part-Time Video Editor (Short-Form, Simple Cuts)I’m looking for a reliable, friendly part-time editor to help with ongoing short-form video projects for client accounts. This is NOT a heavy, cinematic, transitions-everywhere editing job. The style is clean, simple and fast-paced. Think: accurate cuts, removing filler words, keeping the pace tight, adding basic overlays when needed, and using clean captions that match the audio perfectly. What you’ll be doing:- Editing short-form videos (mostly 15–90 seconds) using simple cut-based editing- Removing filler words, pauses and hesitations to keep the flow moving- Adding clean, accurate captions- Occasionally adding basic overlays to highlight what’s being said- Maintaining the same editing style across all videos (examples will be provided)- Working from raw files delivered via bolthires Drive- Uploading completed edits back into the same folder for reviewNOTE: Each client has roughly 24 videos per month recorded for them, and we work with 5-6 clients currently, with the view to this growing.There will be quite a few videos to edit, but they will arrive in a volume of 10-12 per day, 4 days per week)What I’m NOT looking for:- Heavy effects, cinematic transitions, or flashy editing- Sound design, colour grading, complicated motion graphics- Editors who over-edit or try to reinvent the styleThe person I'd LOVE to work with has:- Strong attention to detail, especially with captions and pacing- Experience editing short-form content (TikTok, Reels, Shorts)- Ability to follow a clear editing style guide and stay consistent- Reliable communication and ability to meet deadlines- 48-hour max turnaround time (this will matter a lot)Tools & workflow:- All raw footage will be shared via bolthires Drive- You edit in your own software- Finished videos are uploaded back into Drive for review- Simple, repeatable workflowIf you understand modern short-form content and enjoy clean, minimal editing that keeps the viewer engaged without overdoing it, I’d love to hear from you.Apply tot his job
