Job Purpose: The People Experience Business Partner (PXBP) - Global Operations is responsible for strengthening our internal capabilities and improving SMP’s people experience processes by ensuring consistent, simplistic, and streamlined operations across the employee lifecycle. Key responsibilities include analyzing people data, optimizing workflows, maintaining data governance and compliance, and leading continuous improvement initiatives. This position functions as a strategic partner, connecting People Experience, Shared Services, IT, Finance, Legal, Compliance, other business units, and Sony companies to ensure the effective delivery of compliant and scalable HR solutions supporting global operations. What You’ll Do: ( job responsibilities ) Partner with key stakeholders to ensure the following responsibilities are delivered with the highest level of service, detail and strategic planning: HR Systems & Data Management: Manage and optimize the HRIS platforms, driving data integrity, privacy and system utilization across the business. Proactively manage and support system enhancements, testing, and documentation of HR processes. Process Optimization & Compliance Prioritize the improvement of all current processes and the introduction of new ones, that result in automated, streamlined and positive end-user experiences. Analyze and improve people experience processes to align with global standards and local regulations. Conduct and respond to audits and ensure documentation and policy compliance in accordance with country-specific labor laws. Collaborate with People Experience partners and shared service teams to harmonize policies and procedures across geographies. Explore opportunities for AI and other digital tools to enhance efficiency, scalability, and job enrichment. Employee Experience Administer, implement and improve employee life cycle processes including onboarding, transfers, exits, benefits administration, engagement, compliance, workforce planning and HR operations. Total Rewards Partner with Total Rewards to drive improvements related to processes, systems, and workflows including and not limited to: Annual Salary Review Internal and external market analyses Benefits analyses Reporting & Analytics Create and generate reports, dashboards, and scorecards. Prepare presentations and data insights for leadership and audits. Produce and analyze data reports, including essential people metrics. Stakeholder & Vendor Management Serve as a point of contact for People Experience partners, people leaders, and employees. Facilitate education sessions pertaining to system enhancements and process improvements to raise awareness of new capabilities and functionalities. Liaise with external vendors and internal IT teams for system support and upgrades. Build strong relationships with global stakeholders to ensure service excellence. Who You Are: ( skills and experience required ) Education and Certifications Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, IT, Human Resources, or related field. Preferred certifications in: HR, Project Management, Technology, People Data & Insights, People Analytics Experience 3-5 years of experience managing HR operations or HRIS support and strengthening processes. Experience working with and optimizing HRIS platforms (i.e., Workday, ADP, Sharepoint, UKG, UltiPro, Greenhouse, LMS platforms and more). Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerBI, Tableau, SQL, etc. Experience supporting global teams and multicultural environments. Project management and change management experience. Experience delivering improved outcomes. Demonstrated experience collaborating within shared service delivery teams to achieve targeted outcomes. Skills Advanced analytical, data interpretation and storytelling skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication (verbal, written and listening) and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently. Strong understanding of HR compliance within a multinational organization. Familiarity with global employment laws and HR compliance standards. Must be authorized to work in the United States. 7.5-hour business workday but variations in work volume frequently require extended working hours for evening and late-night events. DISCLAIMER: The anticipated annual base salary for this position is: $86,736.00-$123,909.00 This range does not include any other compensation components or other benefits that an individual may be eligible for.
