Pricing Assistant – Logistics & Freight Brokerage (Remote)

As part of our continued growth, we are seeking a detail-oriented Pricing Assistant to support our pricing and operations teams in managing bids, analyzing freight data, and assisting with day-to-day pricing activities. This is a fully remote position. Key Responsibilities • Analyze, review, and enter pricing and shipment data • Review bid documents and pricing requests (LTL, TL, and specialized freight) • Assist with bid preparation, coordination, and submission • Perform bid analysis and pricing comparisons • Support the pricing team with routine and ad-hoc reports • Maintain organized records of rates, bids, and carrier responses • Collaborate with pricing managers and operations staff on daily pricing tasks • Provide professional and responsive support to internal teams and external partners Required Qualifications • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • High attention to detail and accuracy • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously • Comfortable working in a fast-changing logistics environment • Strong organizational skills and positive, team-oriented attitude • Ability to adapt quickly to shifting priorities and workload Preferred Skills & Experience • Experience with Microsoft Excel (filters, formulas, spreadsheets) • Familiarity with logistics, freight brokerage, or transportation pricing (preferred but not required) • Customer service or operations support experience • Exposure to transportation management systems (TMS) is a plus • College coursework or degree preferred but not required Compensation & Benefits • Competitive hourly pay (commensurate with experience) • Fully remote work environment • Paid time off and paid holidays • Opportunity for growth into pricing analyst or operations roles • Stable workload within an established logistics organization Work Environment & Physical Requirements This role requires extended periods of computer work, data analysis, and communication via email and phone.
