Principal Portfolio Manager – Distribution
Job Description: • Act as the primary liaison for Professional Services, conducting regular meetings to maintain client relationships and scope service offerings. • Lead successful ERP implementation projects as the primary sponsor, collaborating across Epicor teams and functions to ensure positive outcomes. • Support Project Managers in strategic planning, risk mitigation, and best practices to deliver projects on time and within budget. • Participate in and lead Project Kickoff, Planning, Milestone, and Steering Team meetings both remotely and on-site. • Address escalated client concerns from inception to resolution, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction. • Compile and review project health metrics, overseeing strategic decisions related to project margin and resource allocation. • Assist Sales with client references, pre-sales presentations, and service planning while identifying and managing project risks. Requirements: • 8+ years of extensive enterprise-level project management experience with demonstrated success and knowledge, including 3+ years of Distribution industry experience. • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. • Experience in ERP software implementation required. • Willingness to travel up to 50% and occasionally work at client sites.
