Principal Supplier Engineer- Energetics - Remote

The Operations and Supply Chain organization has an opportunity for a talented professional to join our team in a critical Principal Supplier Engineering-Energetics role within manufacturing engineering. You will be involved in all aspects of planning and executing the production of our wide range of weapon systems, from tactical missiles to strategic defense products. You will provide technical knowledge, capacity analysis, & process capability expertise to improve supplier performance. You will ensure technical data packages are complete and accurate and that the supplier technical performance meets the objectives of quality, cost and schedule. You will drive Raytheon design requirements to improve manufacturing and quality capabilities of suppliers. You will initiate continuous and measurable design and process improvement of supplier hardware for affordability. This position is REMOTE. Responsibilities • Communicate and translate the technical data package to suppliers • Conduct supplier engagements related to capability, capacity, opportunity and risk • Perform technical evaluations in support of cost and price analysis • Manage supplier requests for product and process changes • Manage product non-conformances, Drive root cause and corrective action • Prioritize and execute improvement opportunities • Communicate the technical health of our suppliers to stakeholders • Support travel as needed. Minimum 25% travel. Requirements • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) • A minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
