Summary The Project Manager (PM) is responsible for implementing Video solutions (License Plate Reader) projects, acting as the leader and focal point. This role involves delivering contractual scope on schedule and within budget, ensuring customer satisfaction. The PM utilizes project management tools to analyze complex issues, develop resolutions, and allocate resources to meet objectives. Direct communication with customer organizations and internal stakeholders is essential, along with managing the overall pre-tax profit of projects. Must Have • Direct and coordinate the work activities of project team. • Utilize PM tools (schedule, critical path analysis, budget, change order, risk assessment, action item log). • Deliver contractual scope on schedule and within budget. • Maintain customer satisfaction. • Conduct project reviews with customer and senior stakeholders. • Manage overall pre-tax profit of all projects. • Bachelor's Degree in Business Operations, Communications, Finance, IT, Management, or Technology. • Ability to obtain a background clearance (CJIS Security Policy). • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely. Good To Have • Strong presentation skills. • Strong negotiating skills. • PMP certification. • Knowledge of mobile video technology, wireless/LTE infrastructure, policy/procedures for retention/redaction/chain of custody, evidence management software and workflow. • Self-motivated team player able to work effectively with general guidance toward objectives. Job Description The Project Manager (PM) is responsible for the implementation of Video solutions (License Plate Reader) and will act and be recognized as the leader / focal point for all aspects of assigned project(s). Responsible for delivering the contractual scope, on schedule and within budget, while maintaining customer satisfaction. Must be able to utilize PM tools (schedule, critical path analysis, budget, change order, risk assessment, action item log, etc) to analyze complex issues and develop resolutions for any issues related to assigned project(s). The PM is responsible for allocating all necessary resources to meet project objectives, corporate financial, and customer satisfaction goals. The project manager is responsible for direct communication with the customer’s organization and relevant senior stakeholders internally by conducting project reviews throughout the life of the project. In addition, the project manager is responsible for the overall pre-tax profit of all projects. Responsibilities: • Directs and coordinates the work activities of project team. • Demonstrates awareness of all nine areas of PMBOK project management, PRINCE2, or applicable PM standard with a firm understanding of two. Has knowledge of at least one major project phase. Is a major contributor to the development of the project plan. • Contributes to the fulfillment of projects and organizational objectives. • Prepares reports for upper management regarding status of the project. Preferred Skills: • Strong presentation and negotiating skills • PMP highly desired. • Mobile video technology to include required wireless/LTE infrastructure, policy/procedures for retention/redaction/chain of custody, evidence management software and workflow a plus. • Self motivated team player able to work effectively with general guidance toward objectives. This position is a remote position, however, due to travel requirements, candidates should be located in the West/Central Regions of the United States. This position is subject to working in high security areas governed by the US Department of Justice's 'Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) Security Policy' and therefore requires successfully passing a more stringent fingerprint background check administered by Motorola Solutions Inc. customers. The Travel Requirement for this role is approximately 25-50% Target Base Salary Range: $70,000 - $80,000 USD Consistent with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity. Pay within this range varies and depends on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate Basic Requirements Required Skills: • Bachelor's Degree in one of the following areas: Business Operations, Communications, Finance, IT, Management, or Technology required. • Must be able to obtain a background clearance as required by our government customers. • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required.
