QA Manager

We are seeking an experienced and technically proficient QA Manager to lead our quality assurance efforts for our enterprise SaaS application. This role requires a hands on leader who combines deep technical expertise in test automation with proven experience implementing AI-driven testing solutions. The ideal candidate will drive quality initiatives across the software development lifecycle while managing and mentoring a team of QA professionals.Leadership & Strategy• Lead and manage a team of QA engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance management• Develop and execute comprehensive QA strategies aligned with business objectives and product roadmaps• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Development, Product Management, and DevOps to ensure quality is embedded throughout the SDLC Drive continuous improvement initiatives and establish quality metrics and KPIs Participate in sprint planning, retrospectives, and release planning activitiesTechnical Execution• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Selenium/C# or• Playwright/TypeScript• Implement and optimize CI/CD testing pipelines and integration strategies Conduct hands-on automation development and code reviews for complex testing scenarios• Establish testing standards, best practices, and coding guidelines for the QA team Oversee test environment management and test data strategiesAI Integration & Innovation• Lead the implementation and demonstration of AI-powered testing tools and methodologies within the SDLC• Evaluate, pilot, and integrate AI/ML solutions for test case generation, intelligent test selection, and defect prediction• Develop strategies for leveraging AI in areas such as visual testing, API testing, and performance testing• Stay current with emerging AI testing technologies and drive their adoption within the organization• Present AI testing outcomes and ROI to stakeholders and leadershipQuality Assurance• Oversee comprehensive testing of enterprise SaaS applications including functional, integration, performance, and security testing• Ensure thorough testing coverage across multiple environments, browsers, and devices• Drive risk-based testing approaches and establish effective defect triage processes Collaborate with security teams to implement security testing practices Manage release readiness assessments and go/no-go decisions• Strong problem solver with excellent communication skills• Empathetic and have a growth mindset with a desire to learn and embrace challenges• Innovative and passionate about your work• Leader and mentor with interest to help others on the teamWhat You Have• 5+ years in QA (2+ in leadership), with experience managing and scaling teams in agile/scrum environments• Hands-on test automation expertise with Selenium/C# or Playwright/TypeScript• Strong programming skills in C# or TypeScript/JavaScript• Experience with AI/ML tools in testing, including intelligent test generation, self-healing tests, and predictive analytics• Knowledge of automation frameworks, design patterns, and best practices• Proficiency with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI) and Git workflows• Experience with API testing (REST, GraphQL, Postman) and performance/security testing• Background in manual + automated testing for enterprise SaaS/multi-tenant architectures• Preferred Qualifications• Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and databases/SQL• Familiarity with monitoring/observability tools• Previous experience in SaaS or enterprise software companies• Competitive Wages• Full Benefits package (medical, dental, vision, etc.) for full-time employees• Generous PTO to support work-life balance• RRSP Matching• Paid Parental Leave• Autonomy to grow and find your career path with supportive leadership• Remote working opportunities• Inclusive and diverse work environmentNEOGOV does not discriminate in employment on the basis of race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy and gender identity), national origin, political affiliation, sexual orientation, marital status, disability, genetic information, age, membership in an employee organization, retaliation, parental status, protected military status, or other non-merit factors.#LI_REMOTE Apply tot his job
