Quality Assurance Test Engineer
About the Role:We’re looking for a highly skilled Quality Assurance Test Engineer to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on testing environment and has strong experience across automation, performance testing, API validation, SQL testing, and manual QA.You’ll spend most of your time designing, executing, and maintaining automated test cases, while applying sound judgment to determine when manual testing is the right approach. Your work will directly contribute to delivering reliable, high-quality software that supports business goals.What You’ll DoBuild, execute, and maintain automated UI test scripts using Selenium and JavaPerform API testing (functional, integration, regression)Conduct performance, load, and stress testing using JMeterExecute manual testing when automation is not suitableValidate backend data by writing and running complex SQL queries (Oracle & MSSQL)Perform regression testing to ensure defect fixes are effectivePartner with developers and product teams to identify, document, and resolve defectsCommunicate testing progress, risks, blockers, and estimates clearlyGenerate and share test coverage and execution reportsParticipate in Agile/SAFe ceremonies and contribute to continuous QA improvementDesign test scenarios that reflect real-world usage and infrastructure dependencies✅ Required QualificationsCurrently employed in a Quality Assurance role5–7 years of continuous experience in QA/Test Engineering5+ years of hands-on experience with:Selenium (UI automation)JMeter (performance/load testing)API TestingSQL (Oracle & MSSQL)Manual TestingStrong understanding of when to use automation vs. manual testingSolid knowledge of the SDLC, Agile/SAFe methodologies, and QA best practicesExperience using Java for automation scriptingStrong communication and collaboration skills⭐ Nice to Have3+ years of experience with AppDynamics (application performance monitoring)Experience with Maven and ApacheLinux administration experience (RHEL preferred)Experience with Docker container development and testingUnderstanding of application infrastructure and dependencies Job Types: Full-time, Contract Pay: $55.00 - $60.00 per hour Work Location: Remote Apply tot his job
