Certified Medical Coder - RemoteBronx, NY⏱ 13 Weeks | 5×8 Days (8:00 AM – 4:00 PM)40 hours/weekWeekly Gross: ~$1,600W2 Hourly: $40/hrWork Arrangement: 1–2 weeks onsite training, then remote once fully onboardedAbout the RoleThis position supports a hospital coding department in an acute care setting. After an initial onsite training period (1–2 weeks), the role transitions to fully remote work. Responsibilities (Duties)• Perform medical coding in an acute care setting• Utilize strong computer skills (MS Word, Excel, ICD-9-CM, CPT-4, Encoder)• Apply knowledge of coding guidelines, payor rules, and federal billing regulations• Understand anatomy, physiology, and disease processes• Research coding-related issues as needed• Participate in coder training activities• Use 3M/HDS coding applications• Code Inpatient and Emergency Department (ED) charts accurately and efficientlyRequirements✔ Certification: CCS or CPC (CCS strongly preferred)✔Experience: Minimum 3 years in medical coding✔ Systems: EPIC and 3M experience required✔ Strong background in Outpatient & ED coding✔ Able to work independently with minimal training✔ Knowledge of ICD-10 requiredEducation• High School Diploma/GED• AHIMA credentials (RHIA, RHIT) and/or CCP, CCSTo ApplySend your resume to [email protected] or message me directly to learn more.Call or Text: (551) 298-4267 Apply tot his job
