The Project Manager will be accountable for coordinating teams, managing budgets and schedules, maintaining quality and compliance with preservation standards, and exceeding client expectations. At Double Hung, you'll join a team that values innovation, impact, and tradition in equal measure.Key Responsibilities• Plan, organize, and manage historic window restoration projects from preconstruction through closeout. • Coordinate with general contractors, clients, and internal teams to manage schedules, budgets, and contract deliverables. • Lead on-site teams and subcontractors to ensure quality, safety, and performance standards are met. • Ensure compliance with local, federal, and historic preservation regulations. • Conduct regular site visits, assess work progress, and implement necessary adjustments.• Manage documentation, including submittals, RFIs, change orders, and punch lists. • Provide timely and professional updates to senior leadership and stakeholders. • Travel to project sites as needed-typically up to two weeks per month, depending on project location. Qualifications• Required:• Bachelor's degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). • 3-5+ years of commercial project management experience in construction, historic preservation, or custom fabrication.• Proven track record managing projects valued between $500k and $1M. • Must have experience either acting as, or working with GCs. • Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills. • Strong client-facing communication and stakeholder management. • Preferred:• Experience managing federal or government restoration projects. • Familiarity with preservation standards and compliance documentation.
