Remote Communications and Media Manager

Accountabilities • Develop and execute media outreach strategies, including pitching stories to various media outlets. • Create engaging PR content to enhance the organization's reputation for expertise in landowner-led conservation. • Manage social media channels with a focus on content creation and audience engagement. • Design digital assets and advertising content using design platforms like Canva. • Monitor media coverage and audience engagement to refine communication strategies. • Produce diverse content across multiple platforms, telling the organization's story to inspire action. • Collaborate with leadership to align communication strategies with organizational goals. • Coordinate communication efforts and content production with the communications team. Requirements • 5+ years of experience in communications, marketing, public relations, or a related field. • Familiarity or experience with agriculture, grazing, and land management issues. • Proven ability to design and implement digital marketing and public relations campaigns. • Strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills. • Experience building and maintaining media relationships and effective story pitching. • Understanding of digital marketing techniques and tools. • Ability to learn new technologies quickly and adapt to changing priorities. • Team-oriented and enthusiastic about contributing to organizational goals.
