[Remote] Digital Marketing Specialist

The Digital Marketing Specialist supports Civitech’s online presence by maintaining websites, building landing pages, and executing email campaigns to enhance civic participation and empower Democratic candidates. Responsibilities Manage and update Civitech’s websites built on WordPress/Elementor Build new web pages and landing pages (Unbounce) to support marketing initiatives and product launches Apply HTML, CSS, and JavaScript updates as needed to enhance site functionality and user experience Monitor website performance, accessibility, and reliability and partner with external developers when necessary Implement SEO and AEO best practices to improve search visibility and organic traffic Build, schedule, and deploy email campaigns in HubSpot Create email templates and ensure brand, accessibility, and mobile formatting standards are met Support audience list segmentation and basic workflow updates under the direction of the Marketing team leadership Track performance metrics and recommend content optimizations based on opens, clicks, engagement, and conversion signals Support UTM tracking, landing page publishing, and digital campaign QA across marketing initiatives Collaborate closely with the team members to develop digital sales and marketing assets Contribute ideas to improve user experience and digital storytelling and identify opportunities to streamline processes Skills One or more years of professional experience working in digital marketing, web management, or a related field Familiarity with WordPress, Elementor, and Unbounce Technical or strong interest in learning more technical capabilities over time Basic proficiency with HTML, CSS, and JS Solid understanding of SEO/AEO fundamentals and how to apply them in website and content updates Experience building or supporting email campaigns in HubSpot or similar platforms Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines Clear communicator and collaborative teammate who enjoys problem solving and continuous improvement Unbounce or experience building landing pages Make HubSpot Benefits 401(k) plan Employee Stock Options Employer-paid Life Insurance Short/Long Term Disability Insurance Flexible Time Off & Paid Company Holidays Flexible Spending Account Parental Leave Flexible Schedules Professional Development Stipend Monthly Office Upkeep Stipend Company Overview Civitech is a political technology startup devoted to applying technology-based solutions to civic problems.
