Confidential company is partnering with a Fortune 100 leader to find a visionary Director of Data Science specializing in Supply Chain and Generative AI. In this strategic leadership role, you will drive innovation and advanced analytics initiatives that transform supply chain operations through cutting-edge AI technologies. Responsibilities • Lead and mentor a team of data scientists, machine learning engineers, and analysts focused on supply chain analytics and AI innovation • Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for leveraging Generative AI and advanced machine learning models to optimize supply chain functions such as demand forecasting, inventory management, logistics, and supplier risk management • Collaborate with supply chain executives and business stakeholders to identify critical challenges and opportunities where AI-driven insights can drive measurable impact • Oversee the end-to-end development and deployment of AI models, ensuring scalability, accuracy, and compliance with enterprise data governance • Champion the adoption of Generative AI technologies (e.g., large language models, diffusion models) to augment decision-making, automation, and scenario planning in supply chain processes • Partner with IT and engineering teams to integrate AI solutions into existing systems and data pipelines effectively • Manage relationships with external vendors, technology partners, and research institutions to stay at the forefront of AI advancements • Define KPIs, measure success, and communicate results and insights to senior leadership and key stakeholders • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning within the data science organization Skills • Bachelor's or advanced degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Operations Research, or a related quantitative field; Master's or PhD preferred • Proven leadership experience (7+ years) managing data science teams and delivering AI-driven solutions in supply chain or operations contexts • Deep expertise in machine learning, deep learning, and generative AI techniques applied to real-world business problems • Strong background in supply chain management, logistics, procurement, or operations analytics • Proficiency in programming languages and data science tools such as Python, R, SQL, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) • Experience with big data technologies and modern data engineering best practices • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with ability to translate complex data science concepts into business value • Demonstrated success in driving innovation and managing cross-functional teams in large, matrixed organizations • Master's or PhD preferred Benefits • Competitive compensation • Comprehensive benefits • Professional growth opportunities Company Overview • Centralizing All Types Of Next Opportunities For You In One Place.
