[Remote] IT Network Engineer (Fully Remote) – Support One of Our Branch Locations from Home

They are seeking a skilled IT Network Engineer to remotely support one of their branch locations, focusing on diagnosing, designing, and implementing network solutions. The role involves troubleshooting issues, managing network environments, and collaborating with clients and team members without a daily commute. Responsibilities • Implement and support IT and network solutions across multiple platforms • Provide daily remote support for network infrastructure and connectivity issues • Respond to end-user network incidents and service requests in real time • Collaborate with internal teams and clients to design, refine, and implement solutions • Offer technical guidance and ensure successful execution of IT projects Skills • Strong Communication: Ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audience • Advanced Troubleshooting: Skilled in diagnosing and resolving complex IT and network issues • Network infrastructure: Proficient in cable testing, terminations, fiber basics, managed switches, Wi-Fi, firewalls and VPN's • System Administration: Experience with Windows Server provisioning, Active Directory, Group Policies, DNS and desktop deployment • Managed switch setup, configuration, deployment and troubleshooting • VPN Configuration and management • Strong experience in MS365 User setup, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, MS Security Score review and management • Experience in on-premises to cloud and cloud-cloud migrations are a definite plus • Active Directory • M365 administration • DNS and domain service management • Firewall deployment and troubleshooting • Application/system upgrades & migrations • Hyper-V and/or VMware • Wireless access point configuration • VPN configuration & management • Server migrations • Public/private cloud migrations • Fortinet Firewall expertise • Familiarity with RMM tool N-Able/Proview a plus • Datto • Veaam • Industry Certifications Benefits • Medical, Dental & Vision coverage with low premiums • HSA contributions plus quarterly company match • 401(k) with up to 4% company match • Company-paid life insurance + voluntary coverage options • PTO starting on your hire date and additional sick time • 7 paid holidays • Disability, Accident & Critical Illness plans • Training opportunities Company Overview • The AME Group is a privately held company that provides technical support and information technology services.
