[Remote] Jr Frontend Developer

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Avantpage is a translation provider committed to empowering immigrant and LEP communities through language access. They are looking for a Jr Vue.js developer who will be responsible for developing user-side web applications and improving user experience by collaborating with design and development teams. Responsibilities • Support the design and develop innovative web applications that draw the user’s attention • Write reusable, effective, and scalable JavaScript code • Build modular and reusable components and libraries • Implement front-end components with progressive Vue.js framework • Translate the client’s technical specifications into code • Test, update and optimize the application for performance and security Skills • At least 1 year of experience in Vue.js and object-orientated programming • Highly proficient with the JavaScript language and its modern ES6+ syntax and features • Strong understanding of the Vue.js 3 framework and its core principles such as components, reactivity, and the virtual DOM • Familiarity with the Vue 3 ecosystem and Nuxt 3 • Entry-level experience with utility-first CSS like Tailwind • Ability to write efficient, secure, clean, and scalable JavaScript and Typescript code • Strong collaboration and communication skills • Experience in consuming and designing RESTful APIs • Familiarity with server-side rendering is a plus • Familiarity with automated JavaScript testing is a plus Benefits • Flexible working hours. • Joining a vibrant multicultural team spread across the Americas and Europe • Professional development and growth opportunities in the localization industry • Training in new tools, technologies, and processes • Energetic, multicultural, and empathetic working environment Company Overview • Avantpage empowers immigrants to achieve their American dream through trusted language Services.
