[Remote] Junior Security Project Manager

Note:The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Forsyth Barnes is supporting a global retail business that is expanding its security function. They are seeking a Junior Project Manager to manage the full lifecycle of security governance documents and collaborate with senior stakeholders across multiple regions. Responsibilities• Support the full lifecycle of security governance documentation, maintaining an organised inventory and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.• Identify gaps across the documentation framework and coordinate follow up activities with content owners. • Coordinate the annual review and update process for 10 to 15 security policy documents in partnership with junior, mid level and senior stakeholders. • Partner with Change Management to develop communication plans that ensure updated policies reach the correct end users. • Identify the need for supporting documentation such as standards, baselines and guidelines, and collaborate with relevant teams to create them.• Maintain strong focus on end user communication so that security requirements are clearly understood and adopted across the organisation. Skills• 1 to 3 years of experience as a Project Manager or PMO within IT, with strong interest in security and compliance. • Comfortable using tools such as Confluence, JIRA and Smartsheet. • Strong communication and writing skills with excellent attention to detail. • Experience working in global or cross functional teams. • Confident engaging and following up with stakeholders, including driving deadlines and clarifying expectations.• Understanding of how security should enable the business. • Knowledge of DRATA or ServiceNow is a strong plus. • Familiarity with compliance standards such as PCI DSS, GDPR or NIS2 is beneficial but not required. • Security certifications are helpful but not essential. • Experience working with offshore teams is an advantage.
