Role:Remote Medical Operations Coordinator (Rx & Logistics)Company: LaSara Medical Group (national telehealth) - LaSara.comLocation:Remote work from home and must live one of the following states: Idaho, Arizona, Tennessee, Wyoming, or Kansas. | Hours: 8:00am–5:00pm [the timezone you live in]Type: Full-time, W-2Reports to: Operations ManagerAbout theRole:You’ll own the end-to-end prescription order flow: submitting patient orders to partner pharmacies, tracking shipments, updating medical system and CRM, and keeping patients and our team informed.Success in this role means zero patient-safety errors, on-time submissions, and clear communication—you are required to own this role and self-manage your day. If you are capable of working autonomously and do not need someone looking over your shoulder every hour of the day, then this is a great option for you. What You’ll Do• Submit prescriptions/orders to the correct pharmacy following step-by-step Standard Operating Procesdures and state rules. • Update Salesforce (medical health records system) at each stage (notes, statuses, links) and maintain an orders tracker.• Verify medication, strength, dosing, address, and contents before submitting/marking complete. • Monitor shipping & tracking; notify patients and internal stakeholders proactively. • Operational goals achieved daily (e.g., submit within 2 business hours of payment; same-day tracking notifications, proactive and solution oriented). • Troubleshoot issues (missing packages, pharmacy constraints, patient questions) and escalate with a plan. • Identify process gaps and improve business processes to prevent repeat errors.• Customer service inquiries; Handling patient requests, discussing treatments and how they are administered over the phone to patients, and being an advocate for our patients. • Patient guidance; Includes coaching patients on how to best be successful, and troubleshooting side effects. All guidance you provide to the patient will be pre-approved from our medical team. You Are• A self-starter who thrives with clear outcomes, not hand-holding. • Detail-obsessed: you double-check names, strengths, doses, addresses, and attachments. • Process-driven: you follow checklists and also improve them. • Calm under pressure, professional with patients, and disciplined working from home.Requirements• 1–3+ years in medical operations, pharmacy tech, patient coordination, or healthcare logistics. • Comfortable with EHR/CRM tools (Salesforce preferred) and Google Workspace. • Proven remote work discipline (quiet workspace, reliable internet, responsive during hours). • Understanding of HIPAA and urgency around patient safety. • Strong written communication; concise status updates. • 5 professional references. Nice to Have• Experience with GLP-1, TRT/HRT, peptides, or specialty pharmacy workflows.• Prior ownership of SOPs, SLAs, or order-tracking dashboards.
