[Remote] PR Director/Brand Marketing Manager

Hudson Greater China is seeking an experienced and strategic Public Relations Director and Brand Marketing Manager to lead their brand’s communications and marketing efforts in the U.S. market. The roles involve crisis management, media relations, and the development of marketing plans to enhance brand influence. Responsibilities • Lead crisis communication efforts and coordinate closely with global HQ to address sensitive public issues • Build and maintain strong relationships with mainstream U.S. media, podcast hosts, key opinion leaders, and government stakeholders • Develop and oversee public communication strategies, including press releases, digital storytelling, and reputation management initiatives • Provide senior management with strategic communication and risk mitigation counsel • Leverage digital and social media channels, including podcasts, to strengthen brand presence and engagement • Develop and implement marketing plans that are consistent with the overall brand strategy to enhance the brand's influence in overseas markets • Conduct market research and analysis to understand overseas consumer needs, market trends and competitive landscape, and provide data support for market strategy • Coordinate various marketing activities such as online and offline activities, social media operations, and advertising activities to ensure brand communication consistency. Establish and maintain relationships with media, partners and KOLS to promote cross-channel brand promotion and cooperation • Ensure brand consistency across all touch points, including packaging design, store image and presentation of promotional materials. Evaluate and analyze the effectiveness of marketing activities, propose optimization plans and report to management regularly • Manage marketing budgets to ensure expenditure efficiency and arenaflex-effectiveness. Understand and analyze the market activities of competing products, and dynamically adjust marketing strategies to maintain competitive advantages • Work closely with the product development team to support the promotion strategy for new product launches Skills • Bachelor's degree or above in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field • Minimum 5 years of experience in PR, corporate communications, or public affairs • Proven ability to manage crisis communication and handle sensitive matters with discretion and sound judgment • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; bilingual proficiency (English & Mandarin) is a plus • Strong understanding of the U.S. media landscape and public policy environment • Strategic thinker with flexibility, resilience, and a collaborative mindset • 5+ years of Public Relations and Communications Services experience • 5+ years of work experience with Crisis Communications • 3+ years of work experience with Strategic Communications • No need for visa sponsorship • Bachelor degree or above, major in marketing, business administration, communication and other related majors are preferred • At least 5 years of brand marketing experience, including at least 2 years of brand management experience, and experience in the food and beverage industry is preferred • In-depth understanding of overseas markets and consumer behavior, and rich marketing experience • Excellent communication and team management skills, able to lead and motivate the team efficiently • Possess innovative thinking and strategic planning capabilities, and be able to formulate and implement efficient market strategies • Proficient in using market analysis tools and data analysis software • Bilingual proficiency (English & Mandarin) is a plus • Experience in the food and beverage industry is preferred • Fluent Chinese and English listening, speaking, reading and writing skills are preferred Benefits • Medical insurance • 401(k) Company Overview • Hudson is a leading talent solutions provider specializing in mid-to-senior level recruitment and flexible staffing solutions.
