[Remote] QA Engineer [Talents Bench]

As a QA Engineer, you will ensure high standards of quality by leading quality initiatives, delivering quality releases, and collaborating with teams to ensure project success. Responsibilities• Collaborate with development team, Project Managers, and Technical Consultants to create and implement testing plan, mitigate bugs, and maintain project standards• Write and maintain automated tests for user stories and features throughout a project’s life cycle• Manual QA of developer work• Proactively communicate risks and issues as they become known, to both clients and team• Work independently, and have ownership over testing decisions and results• Advocate for solutions, and determine bugs’ severity• Ability to thrive working with Agile / SCRUM methodologies• Shares knowledge with company and community through blogging and/or meetups• Ensures tests adhere to accepted best practice guidelines, whether code-specific or framework-specific• Researches new techniques, technologies, and ideas• Shares knowledge with development team, helping them understand testing strategies and general concepts• Makes recommendations and collaborates with colleagues (QA Engineers, Director of Technology)Skills• Agree with our Corporate Values Statement• Believes in the company mission: To help people• 3+ years of experience with quality assurance• Ability to create and implement testing strategies for a variety of projects• Strong verbal and written communication skills• Experience with full-stack testing• Working knowledge of CLI• Understanding of Git workflows and practices• Experience working with SCRUM methodologies• Experience with automated test suites like Cypress• Experience using / creating a Continuous Integration processCompany Overview• AWS Consulting It was founded in 2003, and is headquartered in Portland, Oregon, USA, with a workforce of 11-50 employees.Its website is Apply tot his job
