[Remote] Regulatory Compliance Consultant II - National General

The Regulatory Compliance Consultant will be responsible for creating and maintaining personal lines policy forms, tracking regulatory changes, and ensuring compliance with laws and regulations. Responsibilities • Conduct research and perform analysis on policy language, regulatory changes, competitor products, market needs, and emerging issues, and serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) • Develop and maintain policy forms, policyholder notices, and other communications, as well as forms requirements, for discretionary and compliance projects and manage timelines for research, development, filing and implementation • Work closely with product management, claims, underwriting, IT and other areas in the creation of product portfolios • Prepare forms filings in accordance with state requirements and respond to DOI objections as well as participate in DOI meetings • Identify and track regulatory changes at the state and federal level and notify key stakeholders to ensure compliance with new/existing laws, regulations, and DOI communications Skills • Conduct research and perform analysis on policy language, regulatory changes, competitor products, market needs, and emerging issues, and serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) • Develop and maintain policy forms, policyholder notices, and other communications, as well as forms requirements, for discretionary and compliance projects and manage timelines for research, development, filing and implementation • Work closely with product management, claims, underwriting, IT and other areas in the creation of product portfolios • Prepare forms filings in accordance with state requirements and respond to DOI objections as well as participate in DOI meetings • Identify and track regulatory changes at the state and federal level and notify key stakeholders to ensure compliance with new/existing laws, regulations, and DOI communications • Strong research, analytical, writing, and communication skills • Property and Casualty Insurance Experience • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) • Legal background helpful • Knowledge of standard personal lines programs of insurance Company Overview • As part of the Allstate family of companies, National General, an Allstate company, is one of the largest insurers in the United States.
