[Remote] Security Solutions Senior Consultant - Governance, Risk, and Cyber Strategy

As aSenior Consultant, you will specialize in cybersecurity Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC), leading complex client engagements to enhance cybersecurity resilience and advising clients on regulatory readiness. Responsibilities• Serve as a trusted advisor, providing expert guidance on cybersecurity trends, technologies, and best practices.• Lead client engagements assessing and strengthening cybersecurity and IT risk programs aligned to NIST CSF, ISO 27001, CIS, SOC 2, and sectoral regulations (e.g., FFIEC, DORA, HIPAA). • Collaborate with stakeholders to define scope, manage expectations, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards. • Develop and present comprehensive risk assessments, strategies, and recommendations to executives and boards, translating complex technical concepts into business-level insights.• Conduct maturity and gap assessments, benchmark against peers, and define bolthires-state models with actionable roadmaps. • Design and implement governance frameworks, control libraries, and risk taxonomies tailored to client operating models. • Develop and enhance cybersecurity and compliance policies, standards, and program charters. • Advise clients on regulatory readiness, audit responses, and remediation planning. • Use data visualization and analytics to identify control gaps, quantify risk, and communicate findings effectively.• Support implementation of risk mitigation solutions to achieve defined business outcomes. • Mentor junior consultants and collaborate across teams to deliver high-impact client results. • Maintain working knowledge of AI risk management frameworks (e.g., NIST AI RMF, ISO 42001).
