[Remote] Senior .NET Application Architect (IAM / Entra ID)

The role involves designing, developing, and supporting secure, scalable application solutions aligned with enterprise standards and project goals. Responsibilities • Understand project requirements and goals to produce high-quality technical deliverables • Work closely with Business Analysts to create and update: • Project documentation • Technical documentation • Training materials • Actively participate in meetings and project activities to support deliverable completion • Communicate accomplishments and upcoming plans to support weekly status reporting • Communicate project progress and technical information to key stakeholders • Assist in preparing materials for: • Program leadership • Executive steering committees • Project Manager • Ensure compliance with established technical standards and architectural direction • Support strategic and tactical project objectives through effective solution development • Assist internal and external resources in achieving project goals • Identify and resolve technical or operational obstacles; support contingency planning • Participate in conference calls with state and federal stakeholders as required • Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend solutions applicable to the program Skills • Minimum 7 years of experience developing web applications • Minimum 7 years of experience producing technical documentation including: Requirements, Specifications, Traceability matrices, Designs, Testing documentation • Minimum 7 years of experience testing: Custom applications, Reports, Large datasets, Dashboards • Minimum 7 years of experience developing applications using .NET architecture • Minimum 7 years of experience with C# programming • Minimum 3 years of experience working with MVC architecture • Expertise in designing and implementing secure authentication and authorization solutions using Microsoft Entra ID, including B2C and B2B configurations • Strong experience planning, configuring, and integrating Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions using: OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SAML • Proven ability to integrate enterprise and customer-facing applications with Microsoft Entra for seamless identity federation • Strong background in solution architecture for scalable, secure, and compliant identity-driven systems in hybrid and cloud environments • Deep understanding of security best practices, including: Conditional Access, Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Zero Trust security principles • Experience developing custom policies, user flows, and branding for Microsoft Entra B2C • Ability to integrate identity solutions with: Azure services, Microsoft 365, Third-party SaaS applications • Proficiency with: Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, Project, PowerPoint, SharePoint • Ability to work collaboratively with Developers, Business Analysts, and Project Managers • Demonstrated experience with large-scale implementation projects • Proven ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholder groups having diverse and competing needs • Bachelor of Science or Arts degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field • Minimum 4 years of experience with PL/SQL or T-SQL • Minimum 2 years of experience with HTML5 • Prior experience working in State Government, especially within Education or Early Learning Company Overview • SGS Technologies is a web design and development company that offers a range of web development and optimization services to its clients.
