They are seeking aSenior Shopify Developer to lead the transition of a shopping platform to Shopify, ensuring scalability and seamless integrations across international markets. Responsibilities• Build and maintain the core Shopify front-end architecture using HTML, CSS, JavaScript. • Support integration efforts between Shopify and other internal systems, ensuring data, logic, and functionality flow smoothly.• Drive the migration of existing markets to Shopify, ensuring each regional storefront meets design, functionality, and performance standards. • Define and maintain a scalable, flexible Shopify structure that supports multiple markets and future feature growth. • Partner with internal teams and external Shopify vendors to align on best practices, technical standards, and scalability goals. • Contribute to the pilot release of the new Shopify experience — setting the foundation for future rollouts across additional markets.• Write clean, maintainable, and performant code that aligns with industry best practices. • Identify and resolve issues quickly to maintain high uptime and reliability. • Maintain technical documentation on integrations, architecture, and market configurations. Skills• Candidate must be located in Latin America (LATAM). • 7+ years of professional experience in front-end or full-stack development. • 3+ years of hands-on experience building, customizing, and scaling Shopify stores. • Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (ES6+), with a focus on responsive design.• Experience with API integrations, Shopify Apps, and backend connectivity. • Proven track record in platform migrations or large-scale Shopify implementations. • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with distributed teams. • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to take ownership of technical deliverables. • Familiarity with React.js, Next.js, or similar front-end frameworks. • Experience working with multi-region, multi-language, or multi-currency e-commerce setups.• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git). • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
