[Remote] Solution Consultant / Sales Engineer – Legal & Compliance AI SaaS
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. ePlacement is a fast-growing, Y Combinator–backed AI SaaS startup transforming how legal, compliance, marketing, and sales teams manage content risk and regulatory reviews. The role involves engaging with senior legal and compliance stakeholders to lead product demos, handle objections, and provide technical validation, acting as a trusted product expert. Responsibilities • Own and lead high-impact, interactive product demos (30–45 minutes) for legal, compliance, marketing, and enterprise stakeholders • Run discovery sessions to understand compliance review workflows, regulatory constraints, and risk frameworks • Adapt demos live based on audience reactions, questions, and priorities • Confidently handle objections, answer detailed questions, and tailor messaging to technical and non-technical audiences • Partner closely with Account Executives throughout mid-market and enterprise sales cycles • Act as the clear product and domain authority in customer meetings • Build, customise, and maintain demo environments aligned to specific customer use cases • Translate complex AI and compliance concepts into clear, persuasive business value • Support proof-of-concepts and technical validation where needed • Provide structured feedback to Product and Engineering based on real customer insight • Stay current on AI trends, legal tech, and regulatory developments relevant to the product Skills • Law degree (JD or equivalent) is strongly preferred • Experience engaging with legal, compliance, or regulated teams in an enterprise setting • Proven experience owning and delivering engaging, conversational demos to senior enterprise audiences (Fortune 1000 preferred) • Strong presence — you are credible, energetic, and comfortable leading the room • Excellent communication, listening, and objection-handling skills • Technically curious; enjoys understanding products deeply and tailoring demos • Experience in SaaS pre-sales, sales engineering, or solution consulting is a plus (but not required with strong domain and demo capability) • Interest or experience in AI-driven software strongly preferred • Background may include: Former lawyer or legal professional who moved into tech, Legal operations or compliance roles, Law firm → enterprise SaaS transition (e.g. Salesforce, enterprise platforms) Company Overview • Welcome to ePlacement, we are specialist recruiters for the Enterprise Software Industry, servicing high growth enterprise SaaS pre-IPO’s across EMEA, North America and Emerging Markets.
