[Remote] Summer Internship: Biostatistics Summer Intern Undergrad (Remote)

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. BeOne Medicines USA is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Summer Intern to join their GSDS team. The intern will collaborate with statisticians to utilize machine learning and advanced AI techniques for developing an analyses toolbox, contributing to meaningful projects in the healthcare industry. Responsibilities • Literature review • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to understand project requirements and objectives • Explore and analyze the clinical database to identify relevant data for the project • Implement machine learning algorithms and AI techniques to develop models • Develop a user-friendly analysis toolbox • Present to statistical staff or general audience on AI related topics and the tasks accomplished during internship Skills • Currently enrolled students with adequate coursework and excellent grades in quantitative and computational sciences towards B.S. degree • Effective oral and written communication skills • Computer Skills: R, Python, JAVA, or C++ • Majors in Statistics, Biostatistics, Mathematics or Computer Science are preferred • Experiences with machine learning and AI techniques through projects or course work Benefits • Medical • Dental • Vision • 401(k) • FSA/HSA • Life Insurance • Paid Time Off • Wellness Company Overview • BeiGene is a global oncology company.
