Right to Counsel Coordinator

The Right to Counsel Coordinator will work closely with clients, internal teams, and external legal service providers to ensure effective intake, case management, and referrals. This position requires empathy, professionalism, and the ability to respond to clients in crisis with respect and clarity.The role balances administrative duties with direct client support, requiring strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a collaborative environment. Multilingual skills are valued, as the role may involve supporting clients in Spanish, Tagalog, Cantonese, or Mandarin. Hybrid work arrangements are available, with on-site presence expected several days per week. • Accountabilities:• Serve as the first in-person point of contact for tenants seeking legal assistance, conducting intake assessments and directing clients to appropriate internal or external resources.• Guide clients through intake forms, consultations, and steps needed to pursue legal or litigation assistance. • Draft legal documentation such as court filings, declarations, fee waivers, and responsive pleadings to assist tenants in eviction defense. • Apply referral protocols to connect eligible clients with Tenant Right to Counsel legal service offices, coordinating conflict checks and providing referral information. • Maintain accurate case files, enter data timely, and track outcomes to support program evaluation.• Research and circulate resources and information packets to address client inquiries and needs. • Participate in meetings, provide clerical support, coordinate outreach, and assist with education on tenant rights programs. • Requirements:• One or more years of experience in case management, legal assistance, or other client-facing roles; multiple years preferred. • Knowledge or experience with housing initiatives, tenant rights, or related advocacy programs preferred. • Proficiency in bolthires Office Suite and other office software; experience managing calendars and appointments.• Experience with Salesforce or other legal/case management databases preferred. • Ability to work effectively with diverse populations, including individuals with mental health or physical disabilities. • Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to convey information clearly and listen actively. • Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks. • Empathy, professionalism, and solutions-focused approach to problem-solving. • Fluency in Spanish, Tagalog, Cantonese, or Mandarin is a plus.• Benefits:• Pay range: $ 31.25 – $ 36.05 per hour (~$65,000–$75,000 annually), with potential pay increases for relevant experience. • Multilingual stipend available for qualified employees ($125/month or $1,500/year). • 100% employer-paid medical, dental, vision, and life insurance. • 401(k) retirement plan with employer contributions. • Paid time off including vacation, sick leave, and holidays. • Commuter benefits. • Professional development opportunities. • Hybrid work environment with remote work equipment and stipends provided.Jobgether is a Talent Matching Platform that partners with companies worldwide to efficiently connect top talent with the right opportunities through AI-driven job matching.
