SAFe Agile Coach (Remote Opportunity)
VetsEZ is looking for a SAFe Agile Coach to join a 100% remote team to support a large federal government project. In this role, you will leverage your expertise to coach and train employees at all levels, including senior leadership, on Agile concepts and DevOps principles to promote an environment and culture of continuous improvement, experimentation, and innovation. The candidate must reside within the continental US. Responsibilities: • Build and coach multiple high-performing agile development teams • Look for ways to strengthen the team's understanding of Agile, e.g., Scrum concepts and DevSecOps principles • Train, Teach, mentor, and improve Agile practices across the organization • Drive consistent practices across the organization • Check and ensure that the project is on pace to meet requirements in a reasonable time • Empower leadership teams in building, growing, and sustaining a thriving Agile team • Foster a continuous learning environment helping teams to inspect and adapt • Guide teams into the Agile methodology, providing employees with feedback and means of improvement, catalyzing organizational growth Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems, Business, or related scientific /technical discipline is required • Minimum of 5 years Agile coaching experience and training experience is required • Experienced working as an external Agile Coach/Consultant at the Program/Portfolio level • Experienced in navigating a consulting engagement, managing customer expectations, and ensuring your work is aligned with the goals and objectives outlined in a statement of work • You have the technical acumen and understanding of Agile technical practices and how they operate within an Agile organization (e.g., CI, CD, XP, TDD, etc.) • SAFe DevOps Practitioner (SDP), or Certified SAFe Program Consultant (SPC) is a must • Experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe®) and Kanban agile methods is highly desired Additional Qualifications: • Experience with the Department of Veteran Affairs, tools, processes, and frameworks is a plus • Ability to obtain a government clearance Benefits: • Medical/Dental/Vision • 401k with Matching • Corporate Laptop • PTO + Federal Holidays • Training opportunities • Remote work options Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, or protected veteran status.
