This includes monitoring and tracking software licenses and hardware assets to ensure compliance with vendor contracts. Develops and implements procedures for tracking the organizations assets throughout their lifecycles. What You'll DoEstablish procedures for managing Telecom, Software and Hardware assets. Refine and follow up on procedures to manage the assets in conjunction with our partners and suppliers.Ensure and drive accurate and compliant asset management, including lifecycle management, acquisitions, receiving, asset tracking, tagging, inventorying and updating system asset records in Asset Management database. Work with the employee/supplier to resolve any breaks in the chain of custody. Gathers detailed hardware and software entitlement and usage inventory information to ensure compliance, eliminate risks and support decisions about hardware and software purchasesEnsures the organization manages its existing assets effectively through optimization, reusing existing licenses and avoiding unnecessary purchasesManage suppliers' and partners' contracts to ensure adherence to established service level agreements, processes, policies and deliverables; serve as liaison with University service partners and suppliers.Contributes continuously to coordinating and governing ITAM processes linked directly to acquiring, receiving, warehousing, distributing, tracking, installing, moving, adding, changing (IMAC), recovering and disposing of IT hardware and/or software assetsEnsures proper disposal of hardware assets, including destruction of storage media and environmentally sound disposal of remaining components in partnership with third party supplierMay be required to work on site 40% of each workweekPerform other duties as required or apparent.NOTE:The Primary Accountabilities above are intended to describe the general content and requirements of the position and are not intended to be an exhaustive statement of duties. Job SupervisoryResponsibilities: NoneMINIMUM EDUCATION AND RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE:Bachelor's degree in a relevant field ORFour (4) years' experience of proven understanding of IT operationsADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:Experience with coordinating workflow and work of asset management suppliersPrior experience with an IT Asset Management systemsProven ability to coordinate with all levels of technical and management staffITIL and ITAM best practice knowledge and experienceAbility to handle administrative detail and work with limited supervision and guidance.Understanding of supplier management functions and contract governanceExperience managing contracts, suppliers, SLAs, and reporting capabilitiesProficiency with computers and computer software, specifically in the Microsoft Office suite, primarily Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Pay RangeThe annual pay range for this position is $65,800 (minimum), $99,400 (midpoint), and $133,000 (maximum).* Typical hiring range is between the minimum and midpoint of the above pay range.Actual starting base pay may vary based on factors such as education, experience, skills, location and budget.
