Senior Director - Church Ministry

Description: • Lead teams developing Lifeway’s resources for churches • Provide oversight to various ministry areas • Collaborate across Lifeway to meet business and ministry goals • Represent Lifeway to churches and partners through initiatives • Guide theological integrity of church resources • Influence key issues in church ministry Requirements: • Bachelor’s in English, Mass Communication, Christian Education, seminary, or similar, required • Seminary Master’s Degree (MDiv, MTh, etc.), required • Advanced degree (PhD, etc.), preferred • 10+ years of leadership experience required, including a minimum of 5 years of full-time vocational church staff experience • Demonstrated advanced understanding of church polity across Christian denominations • Demonstrated advanced understanding of the Christian content market and its customers • Proven strong operational and analytical skills • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Excellent presentation skills both externally and internally • Advanced organization skills • Experience managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously • Active involvement and membership with a Southern Baptist church, required • 5+ years experience with leading leaders preferred • Content development experience (such as sermon prep, published works, thought leadership) preferred • Involvement with other entities of the SBC (Seminaries, Mission Boards, etc) preferred • Experience managing P&L responsibility in publishing preferredBenefits: • Healthcare • Vacation and sick time • Holiday pay • Care days • 401(k) plan • Maternity and paternity leave • Adoption assistance • Ministry time • More Apply tot his job
