Skills • Extensive experience in DoD logistics (at least ten years). • Proficiency in logistics support activities in accordance with DoD regulations. • Strong understanding of system readiness and life cycle management. • Ability to ensure compliance with DoD counterfeit prevention policies. • Experience in obsolescence management and maintenance optimization. • Excellent stakeholder collaboration and communication skills. • Competence in documentation, reporting, and performance analysis. Responsibilities • Provide critical logistics support to SLE space acquisition operations of advanced mobile user objective systems. • Drive relationships between SLE system design parameters and product support resource requirements. • Plan for product support with an emphasis on system readiness, controlling life cycle costs, and minimizing supportability risk. • Ensure SLE design compliance with DoD counterfeit prevention policies. • Identify and manage long-lead production items and ensure cost-effective obsolescence management. • Identify opportunities to integrate predictive and corrective maintenance methodologies. • Advise and collaborate with internal and external program stakeholders. • Develop and update logistics product documentation and contribute to acquisition reports. • Analyze safety hazards, failure causes, and trends to improve system reliability and maintainability. • Participate in on-orbit investigations by providing risk assessments and recommendations. • Provide support for ground services, including maintenance and sustainment of systems. • Analyze system data logs and performance data to improve call reliability and limit outages. Qualifications • At least ten (10) years of DoD logistics experience. • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (preferred). • Desired certifications: PMP or DAWIA PM Level II or equivalent. • Relevant DoD and/or industry work experience in SATCOM/MUOS. • Fluency with Naval Information Warfare Systems Command (NAVWAR) organizations. • Experience with ACAT I/II level acquisition programs. • Experience in Space Systems Command (SSC) acquisition. • Clearance Requirement: Secret Security Clearance.
