As aSenior WordPress Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining websites for our international clients. The ideal candidate will have 5 or more years of experience working with WordPress and related technologies, as well as a deep understanding of best practices and coding standards. This is a senior position, and the candidate will be expected to lead and mentor other team members.Location:• Remote• International OKType:• Contractor/Freelance between 5 - 20 hours / week. Hours:• Variable weekly needs pending client workloads, with efforts to plan ahead and respect your time. Key Responsibilities:• Develop and maintain websites for international clients using WordPress, WooCommerce, and ACF• Work with clients and team members to identify and implement custom features and functionality• Ensure code quality and adhere to WordPress coding standards and best practices• Collaborate with designers and other developers to create seamless user experiences• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise• Stay up-to-date with the latest WordPress updates, security patches, and third-party plugin updates• Mentor and provide guidance to junior developers on the teamRequirements:• 5 or more years of experience in WordPress development• Strong knowledge of WordPress, WooCommerce, ACF, WordPress Codex, WordPress documentation, and PHP• Ability to develop custom WordPress themes and plugins from scratch• Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript• Strong understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment• Ability to lead and mentor other team membersIf you have a passion for WordPress development and a desire to work with international clients, this is an exciting opportunity to advance your career and make a significant impact on our agency's success.Apply tot his job
