If located in these cities, the employee will work in office three days a week; remote work is available for highly qualified candidates in other markets. OverviewThis role supports the execution of ACL (Allowance for Credit Losses) processes for retail credit products in compliance with CECL standards.TheSenior Analyst will assist in ensuring accurate reserve estimations, regulatory reporting, and CECL-compliant forecasting. A strong foundation in finance, risk analytics, and data analysis is required. Ideal for a detail-oriented professional, technically proficient, and able to connect complex models with operational implementation. Responsibilities• ACL Execution & Analysis: Contribute to the execution of ACL processes across retail portfolios (e.g., credit cards, auto loans, mortgages, and HELOC).Produce monthly and quarterly reserve estimates in compliance with CECL and GAAP, maintain execution schedules, and address delays or anomalies. • Controls & Compliance Support: Document ACL execution processes for audit and regulatory reviews, perform periodic control checks (manual overrides, exception handling), and support audit and risk reviews with traceable execution artifacts. • Reporting & Analytics: Prepare ACL reporting packages for senior management, Finance, Risk, and regulatory stakeholders; provide insights into reserve drivers, portfolio performance, and macroeconomic impacts.Build dashboards and analytics tools and support stress testing, scenario analysis, and capital planning. • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Liaise with model developers, finance teams, and risk officers to clarify inputs and interpret outputs; prepare execution decks, walkthroughs, and summaries for management; communicate variances or anomalies and propose data- or logic-related resolutions. • Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies or bottlenecks in the execution workflow, suggest enhancements, participate in working groups to standardize ACL practices, and maintain process maps and SOPs.QualificationsBachelor's Degree and 4 years of experience in risk management, financial analysis, or statistical modeling OR High School Diploma or GED and 8 years of experience in the same fields. Preferred Education/Licenses or Certification:Master’s degree, CPA, or CFA. Preferred area of study:Finance or Economics.
