As a Project Specialist with the world’s most respected manufacturer of automatic transfer switches and power control systems, your role is critical in driving customer satisfaction from order acceptance through receipt of payment. You will work to ensure that projects and orders are executed with excellence and that customer experience is nothing short of stellar. You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:• Performs project management for assigned customers, supervising all aspects of the projects from order acceptance to invoice.• Optimally communicates project expectations to team members in a timely and clear fashion. • Supports Finance team on invoicing and coordination of invoicing• Supports customers remotely and/or onsite, providing first-level user support in case of arising issues. • Maintains the relationship with clients and sales representatives to clarify orders and issues. • Supervises project milestones and deliverables to ensure successful and timely delivery of projects based on agreed upon contract terms. • Coordinates the resolution of sophisticated issues and questions with respectively qualified Field Service Engineers or Project Engineers.• Manages and files clients’ information in SAP and other information systems. • Participates in investigating and resolving commercial and/or technical problems. • Assists with coordination of materials procurement; Engineering and Field Service resources for projects; and coordination of deliveries to customer sites and startup with Field Service team• Assists with project cost reporting and prevention of non-conformance costs, when applicable. Qualifications:• BS/BA, BS in engineering required, related field or equivalent• Ability to travel 20%• 2+ years of experience in customer-facing project management or order management with customer-relationship responsibilities• Ability to work during Eastern Time business hours when required• Expertise in the energy/critical power industry is helpful• Experience with SAP is preferred• Good verbal and written communication skills in English required• Good interpersonal skills and influencing people are important requirements in the job• Proven organizational skills including attention to detail, time management, and problem-solving skills• Proficiency with Microsoft Office required• Experience in applying methods or procedures which generally are well defined and straightforward, but with occasional deviations• Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorizationYou’ll benefit from:• Siemens offers a variety of health and wellness benefits to our employees.Details regarding our benefits can be found here:• The pay range for this position is $94-$145.
